Please follow these steps when applying as an exchange student for our International Program:
Apply at your home university for the exchange program with Heidenheim
After successfully applying at your home university, send the following
documents to the International Office at DHBW Heidenheim:
- Application Form for International Students
- CV in English or German
- Official transcript of records of your home university
- 1 Photo
- Copy of your passport – if you require a visa for studying in Germany
- Copy of enrolment certificate signed by your university
Important: Provide the International Office with a valid E-Mail address, you use regularly.
Deadline for application: 15 April 2016
Once we have received all the required documents, we will issue an acceptance letter/email. Together with the acceptance letter, we will provide further information on housing in Heidenheim.
International students who need a visa for studying in Germany will be provided with an invitation letter. In order to send you an invitation, we need a copy of your passport and proof of valid health insurance coverage for your travel and study period in Germany.
Make sure you have valid health insurance for your stay in Germany and the travel days. Valid health insurance is required by law to study and work in Germany! We also recommend a third party liability insurance.
Inform the International Office at DHBW Heidenheim about your arrival details (date, time and airport).
